Reminder - the Miss Centurion Informational Meeting is this Wednesday, November 12th, during Flex. Any Broome female who is interested in participating in the 2026 Pageant should plan to attend to get important information on pageant dates and deadlines, scholarship opportunities and more.

Mrs. Painter's honors precalculus class created and designed marshmallow catapults to model quadratic projectile motion and determine maximum height, distance, and initial velocity.

Congratulations to Reily McKellar! He was 2nd today in the 3A Boys Qualifier and will head to the 3A State Championship next Saturday in Aiken!
The boys team just missed qualifying by 1 place. They finished 9th in their race on a hard course!

We have STATE CHAMPIONS....AGAIN! Our Girls Strength Team are headed home right now with the trophy for winning the 2025 State Meet. They also won the 2024 State Meet!
They are having parade as they come through Cowpens, so please head out to congratulate them. ETA is 5:00PM!!!

Mrs. Dubois's Chemistry class conducted flame tests to determine an unknown metal salt by examining the photons released after heating.
Mrs. Kanipe's AP Chemistry students proudly showcased their Energy projects, demonstrating their understanding of energy transformation, thermodynamics, and real world applications of Chemistry.
Mrs. Fox's Biology Honors classes studied population genetics using M&Ms.
