DMTC student selected for Youth Apprenticeship

Samuel Wyatt, son of John and Angela Wyatt, signed his apprenticeship agreement with Benteler Automotive on May 17, 2018.  He is a rising senior at Broome High School and will complete the DMTC Mechatronics program this month.  Sam is the 2nd youth apprentice selected by Benteler in the past 2 years.  Youth apprenticeships are made possible through a partnership with schools, businesses, and Apprenticeship Carolina. During his senior year, Sam will enroll in the Spartanburg Community College Mechatronics program while working part time at Benteler Automotive. According to Sam’s instructor, Mr. Swofford, "I feel confident that the same work ethic that Samuel has displayed in the classroom will also be evident at Benteler Automotive."
