DMTC student selected for STEM Signing Day in Columbia, SC.

On Tuesday, April 17, Boeing South Carolina, BMW Manufacturing Co., and the South Carolina Manufacturers Alliance will host the 2nd Annual SC STEM Signing Day.  Cole Quinn, DMTC Mechatronics Integrated Technologies completer has been selected for this honor.  The purpose for this event is to recognize seniors throughout the state of South Carolina for their commitment and achievements in STEM education. Two students from each county were selected for this opportunity and will be honored by industry executives, the SC House of Representatives, the SC Senate, and the Governor of South Carolina. All South Carolina high school seniors who have an interest in the STEM fields and plan to pursue a two-year or four-year degree in a related field had the opportunity to apply.
Cole is the son of Steve and DeDee Quinn of Pacolet, SC.  Cole is currently working on his degree at Spartanburg Community College in Mechatronics while working as a youth apprentice at Benteler Automotive.  He will graduate from Broome High School in May.

DMTC congratulates Cole on this accomplishment!
