DMTC Assist EP Todd Tigers

Science Comes to Life for Middle School Students
Posted on 10/29/2014
Main Campus DMTC students currently enrolled in Electronics and Robotics courses assisted with an interactive tour of their lab for Middle School of Pacolet 6th Grade Science class. During the tour, MSP students learned how to connect small solar panels with motors to reinforce their recent study of different forms of energy. They also learned how to simulate the same electrical circuit they constructed. In addition to the solar experiment, the MSP students learned how to program a robotic arm to load parts on to a conveyor belt which brought to life their study of "Simple Machines" in the classroom. MSP students also constructed a memento of their visit when they learned how to make a bracelet from electrical wire and crimp connectors.
